Team Version of Social CRM Platform from Nimble

Social customer relationship management (CRM) platform providers, Nimble, have just announced a Team version of their popular Social CRM platform which is expected to lay the foundation for a Social Business version in the future.

New functionality in the Team version includes team collaboration, sales and marketing features, enabling groups, departments and other companies to listen to and engage with customers and their surrounding social community. In addition, users will be able to collaborate and work together in building the company. Nimble’s new solution links contacts, calendars and communication to social listening engagement, as well as linking to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Gmail, Outlook and other social communications, unified in one web application.

Jon Ferrara, CEO of Nimble, stated, “The old way of doing business is broken. Companies today cannot succeed if they behave like a castle, blocking out their customers and erecting walls between employees. The new business model is about customer-driven relationships, and small business owners know this.”

Because of its collaborative features, small businesses have the tools to participate in transparent, customer-centric conversations via social channels, allowing employees to engage with customers and, hopefully, lead to growth.

David Meerman-Scott, Marketing Strategist and best-selling author of Real-Time Marketing & PR, commented, “Nimble is absolutely revolutionary! Nimble is what I’ve dreamed of for a long time but never thought possible.” He continues, “With Nimble, I can combine my Twitter followers, Facebook friends, and customer database with my calendar and to-do list into one complete Social Relationship Manager to run my business.”

Nimble also recently announced the launch of Nimble Contact, a social CRM platform that combines social engagement and relationship management into an affordable, web-based solution, empowering small businesses to attract and retain the right customers.
