8x8 Revamp Virtual Office and Launch a New Web Portal
8x8, providers of VoIP phone service, hosting solutions and unified communications, have announced the launch of a new web portal, developed to adapt to a business’s changing needs and enabling them to take advantage of 8x8’s cloud communications solution to configure system-wide user preferences online.
8x8’s Virtual Office phone system administrators will now find it even easier to manage their company account due to a completely revamped Self Service Portal, renamed 8x8 Account Manager. The new web portal delivers expanded capabilities and enhanced navigation and incorporates a wide range of new, powerful functions. Administrators will be able to manage the whole phone system with at-a-glance updates, corporate directories for instant call or chat with colleagues, and users can now manage their extensions via Virtual Office Online using their existing username and password.

Administrators will be able to configure and manage user extensions, individually or as part of a group, with caller ID settings, E911 service addresses, international calling rights, voicemail passwords and more. Other features include:

• Download or delete call recordings for single or multiple extensions (Virtual Office Pro extensions only).
• Run Call Log reports by date, extension or phone number, and then email or download as required.
• Change your payment method online.
