KANA, providers of customer experience solutions, has updated their KANA Enterprise solution, delivering a new omnichannel customer service suite, representing a new holistic approach from the company. KANA has combined their knowledge management services with contact centre and business process management capabilities from Sword Ciboodle – which were bought by KANA last year. KANA acquired Sword Ciboodle to support and improve KANA’s provision of contact centre business process and case management solutions, agent desktop and social CRM communities via the web.

Cloudera Impala has been released as an open source, interactive SQL query engine to analyse data, previously launched in October last year as a public beta offering.
