KANA, providers of customer experience solutions, has updated their KANA Enterprise solution, delivering a new omnichannel customer service suite, representing a new holistic approach from the company. KANA has combined their knowledge management services with contact centre and business process management capabilities from Sword Ciboodle – which were bought by KANA last year. KANA acquired Sword Ciboodle to support and improve KANA’s provision of contact centre business process and case management solutions, agent desktop and social CRM communities via the web.

International Organisation for Standardisation approves eDiscovery standards project

A technical committee that is part of the International Organisation for Standardisation has given its approval with regards to the development of an international eDiscovery standard. ISO standards are now adopted worldwide; in some countries, the standards have great legal precedence and can even be a part of law. The official title for the standard is ISO/IEC 27050, Information Technology – Security Techniques – Electronic Discovery.
